Lean Healthcare Consultant

Carole has been a senior leader in public and private healthcare for over 25 years in both Ireland and in the UK. A nurse for over 35 years, she has been a Lean Black Belt for over 12 years and is a graduate of the University of Limerick, Ireland, holding an MSc in Strategic Quality Science, Lean/Six Sigma systems. She has a strong background in operational leadership, clinical quality and service improvement.

Carole is an experienced project and program manager having led large scale change initiatives and successfully delivered complex projects and service developments in both the public and private sectors in the Irish healthcare system and NHS. She has wide range of experiences in service re-design and delivery having led both corporate and operational teams to deliver on major improvement programs. Carole extensively employs Lean methodologies and tools to improve experiences and outcomes for patients and improve working lives for clinical teams.
