Hoe Chong is a certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt with extensive business process management experience across all facets of business operations (supply chain, warehouse operations, services, outsourcing, IT, back office, HR and training. He has over 15 years of experience in setting up organizational infrastructure and capacity for Lean and Six Sigma – both at operational and strategic levels.

Hoe Chong has successfully led, trained and certified process improvement projects focusing on process streamlining, efficiency improvement, lead time reduction and yield improvement. He has been instrumental in providing direction and guidance to organizations on process improvement, development, deployment and implementation to ensure ongoing compliance and customer satisfaction through the successful deployment of Lean and Six Sigma tools and techniques.

Key highlights include implementing operational change using Lean Six Sigma tools for process improvements in 3PL distribution operations for improving on-time delivery, productivity and inventory turns. Through the initiative, Hoe Chong achieved US$6.75M annual savings in transportation cost; US$5M savings through inventory reduction and inventory & shipping accuracy improvements of $3M.

Hoe Chong was previously Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and Program Manager with Honeywell China and GE Medical Systems Singapore, responsible for business process improvements and supply chain management. He has held a variety of managerial positions related to production management, supply chain management, quality risk management, business operations and customer advocacy and operational excellence.
